Background
Oil filtration is one of the most critical factors in preserving the performance and longevity of Porsche engines. High-output turbocharged and naturally aspirated motors alike demand precise oil management to reduce wear, capture contaminants, and maintain lubrication under extreme conditions. That's why FVD Brombacher sources this filter directly from Mahle, Porsche's trusted Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Manufactured in Germany to strict Porsche factory specifications, Mahle filters are proven in both motorsport and OEM supply — delivering reliability, consistency, and long service life.
Usage
This oil filter element includes the correct O-ring (91 x 4 mm) for proper installation and a leak-free seal. Designed as a direct replacement for the factory filter, it provides OEM-level filtration efficiency while protecting your engine from harmful particles and premature wear.
For your next oil service, we recommend a few preventative maintenance upgrades. Replace the lightweight plastic oil cap with the more durable Aluminum Oil Filter Cap, reference number FVD10799700 for easier servicing. Add a magnetic drain plug, reference number FVD10717603 to capture harmful metal particles before they circulate and cause costly damage.
For best results, replace the oil filter at every scheduled oil service and always use Porsche-approved engine oil.
