Product description

Porsche engines equipped with CIS/K-Jetronic fuel injection are known to occasionally backfire through the intake system. This can create sudden positive pressure inside the air box, potentially causing it to crack or become damaged. A damaged air box can lead to vacuum leaks and often requires costly replacement.

This pop-off valve helps prevent that damage. In the event of a backfire, the valve opens immediately to release excess pressure, significantly reducing the risk of damage to the air box.

The valve installs directly into the air box and can be fitted without removing the air box.

Recommendation: Replace the air filter at the same time
