FVD Exclusive Clutch Kit 964 / 993 - With Light Weight Flywheel (370 ft/lbs. max.)

Our FVD Exclusive line of Clutch Kits is culmination of Porsche Genuine Parts, ZF Sachs Race Engineering GmbH Parts and Motorsports Parts that have been developed to work together without compromise.

This kit's contains a Sachs Racing clutch disc, made with sintered metal plates that have a higher friction coefficient than plates with organic friction. A Sintered Disc allows for higher transmittable torque and is more dirt and oil resistant.

Sintered Disc's aggressive start performance makes them very suitable for racing. Please note this kit is meant for modified cars. Due the aggressive start performance of the sintered disc, we do not recommend this kit for street cars.

Tech Tip: When you are planning to install a new clutch, it is a good idea to replace the Clutch Release Fork and Shaft to ensure proper clutch engagement. Our part # 2964

Please note: 1989 964 OWNERS!! This kit will not fit the 1989 964 as it used the earlier 3.2 L Carrera clutch.Please be aware that adding a lightweight flywheel can amplify transmission noise into the cabin.
