This decklid is perfect for any lightweight project. It is coated with gel coat for paint and it is made in Europe by one of the manufacturers to Porsche. It is an extremely high-quality and includes accurate pre-installed mounting hardware exactly like factory. Note the detail of every cut out, depression, hardware and the connecting points. Please factor that into your research as installation and labor costs will be much lower with this product due to its factory fitment. The original decklid typically weighs around 10 lbs. (4.5 kg), so this would save approximately 4.1 lbs. (1.8 kg).
