Background
Since 1983, FVD Brombacher has set the benchmark for Porsche engine building and tuning in Germany. Our deep expertise with flat-six engines naturally led us to develop advanced software solutions for engine management, Tiptronic transmissions, and now PDK transmissions. This comprehensive PDK software upgrade is compatible with all Porsche models from 2009 onward equipped with a PDK transmission, offering enhanced performance, responsiveness, and customization for street, track, or combined driving.

Usage
The FVD PDK software upgrade is a send-in service. Customers send the PDK control unit (TCU) to our Germany facility for programming. Depending on the TCU version and your Porsche's configuration, we can apply up to three stages of software modifications to optimize shift times, torque management, paddle response, launch control, and other performance parameters. Stage selection and options are tailored to your vehicle, optional upgrades, and intended driving style.

The PDK TCU must be sent to FVD Brombacher in Germany for 1–2 business days.
Provide your vehicle's year, optional modifications, power increase, and intended use (street or track).
FVD PDK software is designed to work exclusively with FVD performance ECU software. TCU upgrades cannot be performed if competitor ECU software is installed.
Not all TCUs allow every stage or option. After receiving the TCU, FVD will confirm which options are available.
