This ring and pinion gear set is produced as a faithful reproduction of the original by the same manufacturer that made the original components. It combines decades of manufacturing expertise with today's quality standards.

The 8:35gear ratio is designed to provide more responsive performance. Compared with a taller gear ratio, it improves acceleration particularly in the low- and mid-rpm range. As a result, however, the vehicle's achievable top speed is reduced.

Technical Information:

The installation setting dimension for the gear set is marked on the pinion shaft, rather than on the ring gear as is normally the case.
For proper contact pattern inspection and adjustment during installation, we recommend using ourgear marking compound, Ref. No.333021016504.
Backlash: 0.10 to 0.15 mm
Both the pinion and ring gear are manufactured from high-grade 18CrNiMo7-6case-hardening steel and undergo appropriate heat and surface treatment.

Precise manufacturing and correct adjustment of the gear set are essential for smooth operation, a proper tooth contact pattern, and reliable long-term power transmission.
