Product description

The Carrillo S Connecting rod bolt (SPS-CARR-6) is a high quality, aircraft standard fastener. Each bolt is manufactured with asymmetrical threads, each thread has a slightly different design than the previous, giving the bolt an evenly distributed thread engagement. This helps to increase the clamp load and fatigue life of the fastener.

This bolt needs to be replaced under race conditions only at every third overhauling the engine. All bolts should be lubricated under the heads as well as on the threads. We recommend adding fastener assembly lube, part # 27709

Torque to 89 Nm (65 foot pounds)
