Our entire Brombacher line of exhausts is manufactured by M&M Exhaust, GmbH in Germany who is no stranger to Porsche racing exhausts. Each is tested comprehensively for flow rate, thermal stress, resistance to cracking, and longevity. To further ensure quality, M&M use lightweight, motorsports grade, T 304 stainless steel material. The catalytic converters are made by HJS Emission Technology GmbH & Co.KG in Germany. They are nicknamed “HD” or heavy duty for their high durability matrix design. They have a SM-matrix (winding of three flat and corrugated foils) and a special connection to the matrix sheath, which equates to extremely high durability for track and street use. We recommend using the HD cats on all Direct Fuel Injection (DFI) motors as they produce much greater heat, so these cats have greater durability. After the cat, the piping smoothly transitions into the larger diameter piping specifically made for FVD Brombacher Exhausts and FVD Brombacher Mufflers.

The FVD Brombacher Edition 200 cell cats will give the Turbo or Turbo S a deeper more exotic sound, while keeping the interior sound close stock levels without drone. We recommend FVD software tuning with the addition of sport cats, as stock tuning can cause the car to run rich. That can lead to raw fuel being dumped on the cats, which can lead to damage and premature failure. Under the FVD Progressive Tuning Program if you already have FVD Software the update is free of charge.
