Sport throttle bodies are a great addition for those with highly modified cars. They are a great addition for those with full exhaust systems (larger diameters), MAF kits, larger displacements, street or race cams, etc.

The remanufacturing process includes full inspection of your throttle body to ensure proper operation after the remanufacturing process. We then disassemble and bore the original to a 2.8-inch (71 mm) diameter. The entire throttle body is cleaned, degreased and the internals are polished to create more laminar flow. We then machine the shaft to accept larger butterfly's which seamlessly match the bore. All clearances are checked for precision to ensure reliability. Each throttle body is remanufactured in Germany, so the lead times can vary.
