The Capristo Valved Sport Catalytic Bypass Set is a simple, logical upgrade for any track oriented 991.2 GT2 RS. This system includes vacuum-actuated exhaust valves controlled by the driver or exhaust backpressure. When the valves are closed or at lower speeds the exhaust gas is routed through the muffler, so driver will experience a deeper exhaust note. With the valves opened or at wide open throttle, the exhaust gas is routed straight out, effectively acting as a muffler bypass. The driver experiences a far louder, more aggressive and more sinister sound - lower deeper tones with gurgling, crackling and a more distinct turbo whistle.

The Capristo Valved Sport Cat Bypass Set is precision designed and manufactured in Germany. Capristo utilizes the highest quality T309 (1.4828) Stainless Steel, advanced CAD Design, 3D Laser Scanning, Digital Prototyping and CNC Milling and Bending.

Please Note: With any of the 991 models, the catalytic converters from the factory flow far better than past models, so there are no longer such large gains to be had. This system increases performance, but really delivers in terms of a louder, aggressive sound. We recommend software tuning with this exhaust system, as replacing the factory catalytic converters can produce a check engine light. Also, running factory software can cause the car to run rich. Catalytic Bypass is for Racing use only.
