Product description

This center muffler bypass is the perfect design for street use. With the valves closed it runs through the X pipe and factory side mufflers which means it is just as civilized as stock while cruising and in the lower rpm band. By contrast, when the valves are open it bypasses the side mufflers to give you the most exotic flat 6 exhaust note possible. You will experience aggressive gurgling sounds with low, deep tones in lower rpms and a GT3 Cup scream at higher rpms.

The incorporated X pipe design dampens and eliminates unwanted frequencies otherwise known as “drone” and gives the system the added benefit of increased torque in the mid-range. And via bypassing the side mufflers when the valves are open, you gain higher gas velocities, present much less flow restriction which translates into larger horsepower gains.

You can reuse the factory exhaust tips or add our beautiful stainless FVD tips, part # BES99116000S. The FVD tip design fit's the factory cut outs in the bumper perfectly and adds an aggressive appearance that matches the sound!

Please note: This muffler is a direct replacement the 991 Carrera S (3.8L - US model) which comes standard with valves. It is also a direct replacement for the Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE) option. If you have a 3.4 L without the PSE exhaust this will require a valve retrofit kit, part # BESKLS000001
