The term stems from the larger 4 Piston (28 mm + 28 mm size) red calipers used by the factory on the 1994 3.6 L 964 Turbo and 993 Turbo. FVD Germany conveniently combines everything necessary for installation so that the swap is a direct replacement. The Big Red Brake System offers high initial response, a smooth pedal feel and braking confidence with maximum control.
