Clutch Kit 997.1 C2S / C4S 3.8 L - Sachs - Manual Trans. - With XTend Pressure Plate

The 997.1 Carrera S and Carrera 4S models have a self-adjusting clutch which increases the service life and ensures that the required pedal pressure remains constant over the life of the clutch. This clutch kit is a cost effective, direct replacement from ZF Sachs in Germany which meets the OE criteria. The kit includes all relevant components necessary to simplify assembly and ensure long clutch service life on your 997.1 Carrera S or Carrera 4S.

Sachs XTend pressure plate ensures optimum transmission reliability of the engine torque to the transmission as well as the longest possible service life of every single clutch component. The technology provides automatic wear compensation by separating the wear of the facing from the movement of the diaphragm spring. The compensation mechanism constantly registers reduction in the lining and compensates for the created gap by reliably turning an adjustment ring. This keeps the clutch from becoming vulnerable to extreme temperatures, soiling and aging. Furthermore, the pedal-force conditions remain constant over the entire service life. At the same time, the service life is extended, since the facing can be worn down further. Another advantage of XTend is in its design: The installation space required axially in the clutch system with operational wear is reduced through the use of XTend.
