FVD Exclusive Clutch Kit 997.1 3.8 L - Manual - With Aasco Lightweight Flywheel

The 997.1 Carrera S and Carrera 4S models have a self-adjusting clutch which increases the service life and ensures that the required pedal pressure remains constant over the life of the clutch. Aasco specifically specifies that a Genuine or Sachs OEM Clutch Kit be used with their 997.1 Carrera S and Carrera 4S lightweight flywheel, so we have conveniently combined all the parts necessary.

Adding a lightweight or lower mass flywheel to your manual transmission reduces drivetrain loss which allows your engine to rev more freely. You will experience quicker acceleration, added responsiveness and a better overall drivability. This high quality Aasco direct replacement lightweight flywheel is manufactured and optimized for street use. It has the correct amount of mass to ensure that you won't experience drivability issues like lighter racing versions. Aasco also engineers in a replaceable friction surface. When servicing the flywheel simply bolt on another friction surface, no need for costly and time-consuming resurfacing.
