This sport muffler delivers the lowest, deepest base frequency possible on the 4.5 L V8 motor under partial and full load. The design varies greatly from designs that are common in the aftermarket. This muffler is uniquely made from German V2A - X5CrNi18-10 - 1.4301 (T-304 L) lightweight grade stainless steel and includes double perforated sound absorption tubes based on the Halbgegenstromprinzip (half counter current principle). The acoustic silencer absorption tubes are made in a specially designed pattern and are perforated with varying diameters. This design isolates and dampens the unwanted frequencies that create drone. It also includes a factory stamped the outer shell for visual inspections and to cancel the unwanted frequencies even further. This design reduces more back pressure than the factory mufflers at higher gas velocities. Performance gains are seen throughout the entire rev range with better throttle response, especially when paired with software, intake and further exhaust modifications.
