With the 996.2 generation starting to go up in value, you want to make a period correct choice when adding body components to retain the value. This rear spoiler is manufactured in Europe by one of the manufacturers to Porsche. It is an extremely high-quality, paintable Kevlar / Carbon GT3 Wing that fits the 996.2 Coupe. This wing includes every detail for perfect fitment and once painted will look like a factory GT3 wing. The wing includes all the correct recessed areas to attach deck lid liner with fan mount, the proper recess for the stock 996.2 airbox, the correct mounts for the latch and even the rubber spoiler buffers. Factor that into your research as installation costs will be much lower with this wing due to its factory fitment. Not to mention, this is a far more cost effective and lighter alternative to the Tequipment Aero Kit II rear spoiler with original part # 996 512 901 02 G2X
