The FVD Brombacher Catalytic Converter Kit for the 993 Turbo is a direct bolt on replacement for the original catalytic converters. They are engineered for the discerning Porsche owner and offer unparalleled quality, and incredible value. All our “Brombacher” exhausts are manufactured by M&M Exhaust, GmbH in Germany and are tested comprehensively for flow rate and characteristics, thermal stress, resistance to cracking, and longevity. This kit contains the 200 cell per square inch, “HF” HJS cats, they are nicknamed “HF” for high flow rate. They are tri-metallic (Rodium, Platinum and Iridium coated). They are extremely expensive cats but are made to endure the high heat that these high revving motors generate. The “HF” cats are ideal for street use, the offer reasonable sound levels and provide a distinct, sporty exhaust note that is purely Porsche.
