Sport Throttle Body 993 1994-95 Non-VarioRam - Remanufactured - Exchange

If you own a non-varioram 993 model and want to enhance its performance without breaking the bank, consider investing in a sport throttle body. This upgrade provides a boost in low to mid-range air flow, which helps to overcome the torque gap experienced by non-varioram cars up to 5,000 rpms. To further decrease this gap, we recommend using our non-varioram software upgrade*, which includes custom maps that take full advantage of the new throttle body.

The remanufacturing process includes a full inspection of your throttle body to ensure proper operation after the remanufacturing process. We then disassemble and bore the original to a 2.8-inch (71 mm) diameter. The entire throttle body is cleaned and degreased and the internals are polished to create more laminar flow. We then machine the shaft to accept a larger butterfly which seamlessly matches the bore. All clearances are checked for precision to ensure reliability. Each throttle body is remanufactured in Germany, so the lead times can vary.

This part is a remanufactured part. You can purchase this newly remanufactured unit from us and an additional charge (a core deposit) will be added to the purchase price of the part. After receiving your new part, kindly send back your old part, or "core". Once the core is returned to us and has been inspected to ensure it is re-buildable and re-sellable, the core deposit will be refunded.

Please note: This is only for 1994 and 1995 non-varioram models with L-Jetronic fuel injection. The original throttle body part # should be 993 110 128 11 for reference. These cars have engine codes: M64.05/06/07/08. *Not all DMEs can be upgraded with our throttle body software, it is best to check with the DME numbers (Porsche # and Bosch #) in advance.
