The Capristo Valved Muffler offers sound and performance without compromise via vacuum-actuated exhaust valves controlled by the driver or exhaust backpressure. When the valves are closed or at lower speeds the driver will experience a deeper exhaust note without interior resonance. With the valves opened or at wide open throttle the driver will experience a louder more exotic exhaust note than the factory Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE). The driver controls the valves via an included CES-3 remote-control unit which allows the valves to be kept open permanently without factory override, a common and annoying occurrence with the Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE). Once the driver chooses to close the valves via the remote, the factory settings will once again control the valves via engine load and backpressure. This offers the driver the perfect compromise for the entire family and every day driving scenarios.
