This exhaust system is ideal for Porsche 997 Carrera S owners who want to run a GT3 rear bumper with center exhaust outlets. The system delivers uncompromising sound and performance for both street and track use. It remains relatively civilized while cruising, but under full load it develops an authentic, motorsport-inspired exhaust note.

The BROMBACHER stainless-steel valved sport exhaust system was developed for Porsche 997 owners seeking a combination of increased performance,
reduced exhaust backpressure, and an authentic motorsport-inspired Porsche exhaust note.

With the valves open, the system delivers gains of up to 21 hp (16 kW) and up to 41 Nm (30 lb-ft)of additional torque on the Porsche 997 Carrera S — from the exhaust system alone.

To achieve maximum exhaust flow and optimum performance, the complete system uses large-diameter70 mm (2.75 in.)tubing throughout.

Important for Vehicles Without PSE:
Vehicles that were notfactory-equipped with Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE) or factory exhaust valve control additionally require the Exhaust Valve Control Retrofit Kit, Part No. BESKLS000001.

This retrofit kit includes the components required to operate the vacuum-actuated exhaust valves.

Engineered as a Complete System

The BROMBACHER exhaust system uses 70 mm (2.75 in.) tubing throughout. The headers, sport catalytic converters, and valved rear mufflers are therefore engineered as a matched complete system.

The corresponding factory components cannot be freely mixed with individual BROMBACHER components, as reducing the larger tubing diameter back to the factory cross-section would restrict exhaust flow.

Quality:
BROMBACHER exhaust systems are developed for Porsche vehicles and manufactured in Germany. Development focuses on exhaust flow, thermal durability, resistance to cracking, long service life, and maximum performance.

The rear mufflers feature a specially stamped outer shell designed to reduce unwanted frequencies and minimize cabin drone. The result is a strong, linear flat-six exhaust note with the unmistakable sporty character expected from a Porsche.

The systems are extensively tested on engine and chassis dynamometers as well as under real-world street and track conditions.

Installation Notes:
Important: This exhaust system is designed exclusively for vehicles equipped with a GT3 rear bumper with center exhaust outlets.
Appropriate DME software calibration is required for this exhaust system.
We recommend replacing worn gaskets and mounting hardware during installation. A suitable installation kit is available under:
