Made in Germany, this water pump is selected for its consistently high manufacturing quality, precise fitment, and dependable long-term performance.
A significant improvement over earlier versions is theupgraded metal impeller. Previous water pump designs used plastic impellers, which could become brittle with age, crack, or break apart, potentially resulting in reduced coolant circulation and cooling-system problems. The metal impeller provides increased strength and durability, making this pump an excellent upgrade and replacement choice.
For a reliable, leak-free installation, we strongly recommend replacing the water pump gasket at the same time:
- Porsche 987.1 Boxster / Boxster S and Cayman / Cayman S: 1 × gasket, part # 997 106 340 00
- Porsche 996 (2005 model year only) and 997.1: 1 × gasket, part # 996 106 340 54
