CDI Ignition Control Unit - 6-Pin - Remanufactured Old part from the customer

The CDI or HKZ as it is known in Germany, is the high-voltage condenser ignition control unit. Aging CDI / HKZ units lead to deterioration of performance with time. A failing unit's symptoms include a fluctuating tach, stalling, loss of power to the ignition coil and no start situations, leaving you stranded.

Send us your original CDI / HKZ and German technicians with many years of experience will completely remanufacture it to new specifications. This is not a repaired unit like many of our competition offer, this is a completely remanufactured unit using new upgraded components.

The remanufacturing process includes:

Disassembly
Inspection and cleaning
Complete diagnosis (including Oscillogram) on a test bench
All active electronic components are replaced with modern components
The circuit board is replaced
Complete functional test on a test bench
Housing is bead / sand blasted and coated with corrosion protection
Relabeled with original stickers

This part is a Remanufactured Part. Send us your original CDI / HKZ and we will have it Remanufactured for you. We do not offer a core exchange on this part. Each unit is remanufactured in Germany, so the lead times can vary. Typically, a 2-4-week turnaround. If the unit cannot be repaired, we will notify you immediately.

We strongly recommend replacing the ignition coil with part # ((901 602 502 00)) and the green trigger wire part # ((930 602 907 01))
