Connecting Rod Set 991.1/ 991.2 Turbo/ Turbo S/ GT2 RS - Carrillo - CARR Bolts

Carrillo is one of the most respected connecting rod manufacturers in competitive motorsports. Carrillo rods are constructed from their proprietary alloy and forged to their custom specifications. The rods are then fully machined to guarantee the removal of all surface imperfections. After heat treatment, each connecting rod is magnaflux inspected and hardness checked, then machined to final size. Each set is balanced and then shot-peened to achieve the ultimate in strength and fatigue properties.

The Carrillo Multiphase (CARR) Connecting rod bolt (SPS-CARR-6) is a high quality, aircraft standard fastener. Each bolt is manufactured with asymmetrical threads, each thread has a slightly different design than the previous, giving the bolt an evenly distributed thread engagement. This helps to increase the clamp load and fatigue life of the fastener. Multiphase fasteners are good for indefinite torqueing's when stretch method is followed for installation.

All bolts should be lubricated under the heads as well as on the threads. We recommend adding fastener assembly lube, part # 27709.
