This high quality cover is not a flimsy carbon overlay. It is comprised of a base layer of Kevlar covered by high quality carbon. The two layers have been baked together for added strength and durability and finished off with a layer of clear coat. The engine cover high quality UV resistant Porsche OEM quality. It is a simple plug and play as it mounts exactly like factory without any modifications or additional hardware.
