Miniature Details
This Wiesner Classic model is a 1:4 scale cutaway representation of the ultra-rare Porsche 911R engine — one of the most coveted 911s ever built, with only 24 examples produced (including four factory prototypes). The original 911R was equipped with engine code 901/22, a 2.0-liter air-cooled flat-six built around a lightweight magnesium engine block and fed by high-performance Weber carburetors. Designed specifically for racing, it also featured center-lubricated camshafts, a twin-spark ignition system with an oversized distributor, and a compact, lightweight cooling fan. Each of these defining characteristics is faithfully recreated in miniature, down to the extra-short fan belt and the casting marks on the distributor cap.

Crafted using high-detail 3D resin printing, CNC machining, and manual fabrication, each model consists of up to 80 individually manufactured components. Every piece is post-processed, airbrushed, and hand-assembled to achieve exceptional mechanical fidelity and visual accuracy.

The cutaway format provides clear visibility of the engine's internal structure, racing-specific features, and period-correct component layout. Set in a solid wood frame with anti-reflective Artglass®, the display offers a clean, museum-grade presentation suitable for an office, home, showroom, or private collection.
