Carrillo Connecting Rod Set 964 / 993 3.8 L -> 4.0 L with RSR Crankshaft - WMC Bolts - 23 mm Pin

Carrillo is one of the most respected connecting rod manufacturers in competitive motorsports. Carrillo rods are constructed from their proprietary alloy and forged to their custom specifications. The rods are then fully machined to guarantee the removal of all surface imperfections. After heat treatment, each connecting rod is magnaflux inspected and hardness checked, then machined to final size. Each set is balanced and then shot-peened to achieve the ultimate in strength and fatigue properties.

This set comes with Carrillo H11 tools steel bolts (referred to as WMC bolts). They are high-quality, aircraft standard fasteners. Each bolt is manufactured with asymmetrical threads, each thread has a slightly different design than the previous, giving the bolt an evenly distributed thread engagement. This helps to increase the clamp load and fatigue life of the fastener.

Under racing conditions, we suggest that the H11 bolts be changed periodically. All bolts should be lubricated under the heads as well as on the threads. The H11 tool steel bolts are good for about 15-18 torque cycles.Sold as a set of 6. 1 necessary per car.
