Each rod is forged from a high-strength alloy, precision CNC-machined, heat-treated, inspected for cracks and hardness, weight-matched, and shot-peened for maximum durability and fatigue resistance.

This set includes premium Carrillo H11 tool steel WMC6 rod bolts. Their advanced thread design helps distribute load more evenly, providing excellent clamping force and improved fastener fatigue life.

Installation Notes:
Rod bolt threads and the underside of the bolt heads must be properly lubricated during installation. For racing and other high-load applications, periodic replacement of the rod bolts is recommended.

Important Note for Porsche 997.1 Turbo:
When installing these connecting rods in a Porsche 997.1 Turbo, connecting rod bearing set 99310314715SET must be used. The bearing groove and locating tang are positioned on opposite sides.
