Product description
The fuel pressure damper is located at the fuel rail, it smooths out fuel pulses to maintain more constant and consistent fuel pressure. The damper has an internal membrane that can fail causing the excessive fuel pressure since it cannot regulate the pumps constant flow. Excessive fuel pressure can damage the catalytic converter and cause black sooty exhaust.
This is a genuine part sourced from Porsche AG in Germany to ensure quality, reliability and precise fitment.
