Product description
The factory Y pipe becomes restrictive when adding substantial power gains from modifications. This Y Pipe has larger inlets and an optimized diversion area that creates more laminar air flow. This superior design increases the volume and velocity of air necessary for the added modifications. The result is improved acceleration and increased boost response on modified turbo vehicles.
This Product a simple and cost-effective way to increase power and we recommend them in conjunction with our software and exhaust upgrades. The 997.2 Turbo and 997.2 Turbo S Y-Pipe is a direct replacement engine upgrade that requires no modifications. However, installation should be performed by an experienced Porsche technician familiar with the 997.2 Turbo platform. The Y-Pipe comes with all the required hardware necessary to complete the installation.
Sold individually. 1 Necessary per car.
Please Note: This product works in conjunction with the original Porsche throttle body so an FVD Software update is not necessary. FVD Software will adapt and create added performance for this modification.
