Product description
With the installation of a 3.6 L or 3.8 L 996/997 engine into a 986 Boxster or 996 3.4 L, the DME (ECU) needs to be changed to the new generation to accomodate the correct CAN bus signals.
After the engine conversion the AC is no longer function. This is due to the DME (ECU) expecting a digital signal from the remaining controllers, instead it is receiving an analog signal.
Our module converts the analog signal into a digital signal, so the air conditioning will function properly.
