Background
All Porsche 992 models are engineering masterpieces, but as every enthusiast knows, thermal management is critical for reliability and sustained performance. Whether on track, in warmer climates, or proactively addressing preventative maintenance, heat soak from the factory cooling system can become a serious concern. The OEM radiators feature single-row aluminum cores with plastic end tanks that are prone to heat fatigue and inefficiency under load, especially on turbocharged and high-output engines.

CSF's High-Performance Center Radiator addresses these limitations. Developed by CSF's Racing & High-Performance Division, this radiator is crafted entirely from aluminum and engineered to handle significantly higher thermal loads. The precision TIG-welded 2-row, 42 mm core boosts coolant capacity and maximizes heat dissipation. Combined with CSF's exclusive B-Tube Technology and 5 mm Multi-Louvered Fins, heat transfer efficiency increases by 20–25%, reducing coolant temperatures and stabilizing performance even in extreme conditions.

Usage
The CSF center radiator is a direct-fit, plug-and-play replacement for 992 models that came equipped with a factory center radiator — no modifications are required. Installation uses the original ducting, mounts, and A/C condensers, making it a straightforward process for experienced Porsche technicians.

For 992s that did not come with a factory center radiator, installation is still possible but requires additional mounting components and an “open” center grille to fit the radiator. The grille configuration varies depending on your model year, optional packages, and regional specifications. Carrera owners should visually inspect their car to determine if a center radiator is present before purchase. Any conversion or installation should be performed by a qualified Porsche technician.

Each radiator is handcrafted, pressure-tested, and finished in natural satin aluminum. The CNC-machined billet end tanks replace the fragile plastic OE versions, eliminating a known failure point.
