Product description

Drei Bond 1209 is a high-performance silicone with excellent tensile strength and very high temperature resistance of up to 200 °C, and up to 250 °C for short periods.
The sealant offers outstanding long-term thermal stability and, once cured, provides good chemical resistance.

Applications:
Drei Bond 1209 is suitable for surface and flange sealing applications in engines, transmissions, axles, and drivetrain assemblies requiring high pressure resistance.
It is particularly characterized by its very high tear resistance and enhanced adhesion.

Application Instructions:
Clean, dry, and grease-free surfaces provide the highest bond strength. Contaminated surfaces should be cleaned using a suitable solvent. Do not use cleaners containing acetone. Apply the sealing bead thinly and assemble the components within the skin formation time. Final curing strength is achieved after approximately 6 to 24 hours, depending on gap size, material, temperature, and humidity.

Application temperature: +5 °C to +40 °C
