Sport Throttle Body 996 3.4 L - Non E-Gas (Mechanical Throttle) - Exchange

This sport throttle body is a stealthy and cost-effective means to achieve more performance on the 996 3.4 L mechanical throttle cars. It is a great addition for those with modified cars that desire more performance in the mid-range and top end. It will enhance performance for those with the IPD Plenum part # 36455, FVD Software Tuning, performance exhaust systems, street or race cams, etc.

This sport throttle body includes full inspection of your original throttle body to ensure proper operation after the remanufacturing process. It is then disassembled, degreased and bored to a larger diameter. Finally, the shaft is machined to accept the larger butterfly that matches the bore and all clearances are checked for precision to ensure reliability.

Each throttle body is remanufactured in Germany, by the manufacturer of the original RSR motorsport intake manifolds. Quality, workmanship and tolerances are amazing but lead times can vary from a week to a few weeks' time.
