Sport throttle bodies are a great addition for those with highly modified cars. They are a great addition for those with full exhaust systems (larger diameters), MAF kits, larger displacements, street or race cams, etc.

The remanufacturing process includes full inspection of your throttle body to ensure proper operation after the remanufacturing process. We then disassemble and bore the original to a 2.7-inch (70.5 mm) diameter. The entire throttle body is cleaned, degreased and the internals are polished to create more laminar flow. We then machine the shaft to accept larger butterfly's which seamlessly match the bore. All clearances are checked for precision to ensure reliability. Each throttle body is remanufactured in Germany, so the lead times can vary.

This part is a Remanufactured Part. You can purchase this newly remanufactured unit from us and an additional charge (a core deposit) will be added to the purchase price of the part. After receiving your new part, kindly send back your old part, or "core". Once the core is returned to us and it has been inspected to ensure it is rebuild-able and resell-able, the core deposit will be refunded.

Please note: This is only for cars with manual transmissions that were manufactured from 1989-1991 that had the aluminum air intake manifold.
