Super Sound Plus Mufflers are a step above the super sound mufflers in terms of aggression with the valves open. They offer the most aggressive 4.0 L V8 Turbo rumble with more gurgling and crackling than the super sound. Compared to the factory mufflers with a secondary bypass, the tone will be far lower and deeper, with less rasp and lots of gurgle and crackle off throttle. Compared to the Cargraphic Super Sound, the sound similar without drone with the valves closed, the bass tone is about the same but will offer much more gurgling and crackling off throttle. Please note: All Porsche 971 Panamera's are fitted with valved end mufflers as standard equipment. If you have the optional Porsche Sport Exhaust you can control the Cargraphic Mufflers like you would normally. If you have the standard valved exhaust, you can purchase the optional Cargraphic performance valve control unit, part # CARKLS0009711. That will allow you to control the valves with a key chain remote with sport mode = valves always open, comfort mode = valves always closed and automatic mode = OEM valve control is active.
