If you are uncertain about the process of installing replacement bushings, we offer a convenient solution. You can send us your control arm, and we will handle the entire reconditioning process for you. The professional reconditioning service includes a comprehensive inspection of your control arm to ensure it operates properly after the remanufacturing process*. During the reconditioning, the arm is carefully disassembled, degreased, recoated, and outfitted with new Clubsport bushings. These Clubsport bushings are denser (85-shore) than the original equipment specification (65-shore) front bushings. This denser rubber, typically used on Rennsport (RS) models, provides RS-style handling characteristics, with superior durability, and is still forgiving enough for street use. As a result, with this control arm, a driver experiences suspension motion that is more predictable and can be accurately repeated in every corner, inspiring confidence on back roads, while canyon carving, or improving lap times.

*If your control arm is damaged, warped, or cracked it cannot be used and we will notify you immediately and make arrangements to return it to you. Typical turnaround times are 4 weeks. This is a direct replacement for original part # 993 341 017 00 or 993 341 017 02. We also recommend installing a new ball joint (sold separately), under part # 3856 to save on labor costs.
