Since 1984 we have been developing engine tuning packages that offer extreme performance without sacrificing reliability. We achieve this by collaborating with Mahle in Germany to manufacture the pistons and corresponding cylinders to the same tolerances. This ensures tight factory like clearances, factory quiet operation, dramatically reduced wear on the piston and bore with performance and reliability to match. Many of our competitors use one type of piston with another type of liner. They may advertise no compromise, but when your build demands performance there is simply nothing better in the industry than this Mahle GmbH set.

Mahle pistons are forged for substantially higher and more uniform strength over pistons that are cast. Each is coated in a proprietary anti-friction coating to protect the pin bores from galling and reduces friction and wear. Mahle cylinders are manufactured from ST52 steel which has extremely high thermal resistance. Installation is made easy as the pistons and cylinders are slip fit and do not require machine work to the housing, they are also factory quiet as the piston pin bore is off centered. We take things on step further to ensure reliability by having the piston rings (sealing and oil scrapers) pre-installed.

Please note: Every Piston and cylinder is complete and ready to be installed. They are packed as complete set for every engine. Carefully read our technical information before installing the parts. Piston rings and piston pins must not be modified. Modifications of any of these parts will void the manufacturers warranty.
