FVD Brombacher has a long tradition of offering high quality, extensively tested, easily installed tuning products that offer proven performance. Those high standards naturally led us to the Innovative Pro Design (IPD) Plenum Product.

IPD Plenum's patented, cast aluminum Turbo plenum increases horsepower and torque by optimizing airflow into the intake manifold. The factory intake is prone to airflow turbulence, which deprives the motor of air, robbing performance. The IPD plenum includes a revised diversion area, larger openings and a dimpled interior surface which smoothly channels the airflow towards the left and right cylinder banks. The engine receives a larger mass of air at a higher velocity, which equates to increases in horsepower and torque across the entire rev range. The result is improved acceleration and increased boost response on turbo vehicles.

IPD products are a simple and cost-effective way to increase power and we recommend them in conjunction with our software and exhaust upgrades.

Please note: This plenum will NOT fit cars with the sound imposer package. This package can be confirmed by checking under the hood and comparing with our sound imposer picture. If your original plenum is black plastic with a ribbed construction, the IPD plenum will fit. If your original plenum is aluminum construction then the IPD plenum will not fit. This IPD product works in conjunction with the original Porsche throttle body so an FVD Software update is not necessary. FVD Software will adapt and create added performance for this modification.
