Chain Tensioner Kit 911 / 914-6 / 930 / 965 3.3 L - Hydraulic - Left Side

This tensioner kit is an update for cars before 1984 and a replacement for cars after 1984. For the early non-CIS cars (<- 1984) this kit prevents seal failure, tensioner collapse and damage to the valvetrain by updating to the later hydraulic-pressure fed tensioners.

Models from 1965-1980, with the older chain supports will require chain wheel support spacers. Please order part # ((930 105 513 00)) . Or you can update the chain wheel supports to part # ((930 105 509 00)) and ((930 105 510 00)) for the right side. We also recommend adding hydraulic safety stops, part # ((150 901 560))

When installing this kit on (<- 1973) models, the right-side cam tower oil line requires an extension, please order our part # ((FVD 219 501 039))
