Product description
As the 964 ages, we are finding more and more DME’s (Digital Motor Electronics Unit) must be replaced. This unit is a remanufactured DME as new DME’s are no longer available. This unit is specifically for the 1989 and 1990 964 C2 and C4, engine code: M64.01/02.
As a remanufactured part, an additional charge (a core deposit) will be added to the purchase price of the part. After receiving your new part, kindly send back your old part, or "core". The core must have the part # 911.618.124.04 on the label. Once the core is returned to us and it has been inspected to ensure it is rebuild-able and resell-able, the core deposit will be refunded.
