One-word, legendary. The FVD Brombacher 600 Series Turbocharger delivers an elevated driving experience not available from the factory. Stemming from the Baden Württemberg region in Germany and dealing with lead engineers from the OEM and Motor Sport manufacturers to Porsche since 1984 has many advantages. This Borg Warner Turbo Systems remanufactured turbocharger is one of them. This turbocharger was specifically intended to extract legendary performance on the street, the Autobahn, and the Nordschleife. It enhances any driving experience by delivering added torque off the line, elevated 60 – 130 mph pulls and staggering top end speed. When combined with our proprietary FVD software, complete FVD sport exhaust, and other bolt on modifications you can achieve up to 600 HP.

Borg Warner Certified Technicians re-profile the compressor housing, modifying the compressor backing plate and enlarging the inducer diameter to 1.83 inches. The factory compressor wheel is replaced with a larger, lightweight 6 + 6 blade compressor wheel. Increased compressor efficiency, volumetric efficiency and flow rate create more performance with very little loss in response. An extended compressor wheel tip aids in quicker spool up at lower rpms. The exducer diameter is 1.75 inches and contains a 9-blade turbine wheel. The inducer and exducer sizes in combination with the chosen wheels creates an ideal trim that produces a balance of response, reduced back pressure, increased air flow and power throughout the entire rev range.

When this turbocharger is combined with FVD proprietary software, we optimize boost, air fuel mixture (AFR) and ignition timing to yield the highest performance and engine durability possible.

Please note:This is a remanufactured part based upon your original turbocharger. You must send in your turbochargers to us. Typical turnaround times are 3-4 weeks.
