At higher boost pressures-especially with tuned cars-the OEM diaphragm valve is a known weak point. Rubber diaphragms can tear, and plastic covers can lift once the spring's resistance is exceeded, causing leaks, boost loss, and unstable performance. The FVD Diverter Valve eliminates these issues with precision-machined billet construction, a reinforced vacuum port, and a polished piston with upgraded sealing for maximum durability.

Reinforced with a stepped 5 to 10 mm O-ring, the piston seal rules out pressure loss entirely, while the high-pressure vacuum port maintains consistent operation even under aggressive boost. We recommend pairing the FVD Diverter Valve with FVD Brombacher software and a quality sport air filter (such as BMC or Sprint) on turbocharged Porsche models. Together, these upgrades allow the ECU to fully exploit improved airflow and boost control-delivering faster recovery, steadier boost, sharper throttle response, and stronger horsepower and torque across the entire rev range.

While our diverter valves are fully compatible with factory software or other aftermarket tuning solutions, pairing with FVD software ensures you get the maximum performance, consistency, and drivability from these core upgrades.
