The term stems from the larger 4 Piston (28 mm + 28 mm size) red calipers used by the factory on the 1994 3.6 L 964 Turbo and 993 Turbo. FVD Germany conveniently combines everything necessary for installation so that the swap is a direct replacement. The Big Red Brake System offers high initial response, a smooth pedal feel and braking confidence with maximum control. Whether you are on the street or at the track, this is a modification that won't go unnoticed. And the best part is the EBC Sport Brake Pads that have better bite, are disc friendly and have very little brake dust.
