Our FVD Exclusive line of Clutch Kits is culmination of Porsche Genuine Parts, ZF Sachs Race Engineering GmbH Parts and Motorsports Parts that have been developed to work together without compromise. They offer a silky-smooth release, superb drivability, quicker acceleration and can handle more torque (575 ft/lbs. / 780 NM max.).

This kit includes a clutch disc made with organic friction material with superior thermal resistance, is more resistant to higher rpm's than the OE discs, offers greater longevity and can transmit higher torque. The disc also includes torsion springs that function as a vibration damper between engine and gearbox. That allows for an effortless pedal release when engaging each gear. The lightweight flywheel allows the engine to rev more freely which means quicker acceleration, faster shifts and getting into the power band more quickly. This kit is suited for daily use / light track use and offers a superior driving experience. But, please keep in mind that if you plan to use this on the street, the light weight flywheel will transmit a slight chattering sound into the cabin at idle.

Tech Tip: When you are planning to install a new clutch, it is a good idea to replace the Clutch Release Fork and Shaft to ensure proper clutch engagement. Our part # 53913 for the 996 Turbo, 997.1 Turbo and 997.2 Turbo. Please use our part # 2964 for the 993 Turbo.
