FVD Brombacher has a tradition of offering German made and TÜV approved exhaust products that offer superior drivability, increased performance, exotic exhaust notes and simple installation. Our high standards naturally led us to the Capristo brand which we are happy to add to our exhaust line up from 2019 forward. We categorize our mufflers sound levels from the mild street version (TÜV or ECE approved for Europe), up to the more exotic sounding sport version and finally the wide open, pulse pounding, race version.

The Capristo Valved Muffler with Mid-Silencer Bypass offers sound and performance without compromise via vacuum-actuated exhaust valves controlled by the driver or exhaust backpressure. When the valves are closed or at lower speeds the driver will experience a deeper exhaust note without interior resonance and drone. With the valves opened or at wide open throttle the driver will experience a louder more exotic exhaust note. The driver controls the valves via an included CES-3 remote-control unit which allows the valves to be kept open permanently without factory override, a common and annoying occurrence with the Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE). Once the driver choses to close the valves via the remote, the factory settings will once again control the valves via engine load and backpressure. This offers the driver the perfect compromise for the entire family and every day driving scenarios.
