This exhaust system is ideal for Porsche 997 Carrera S owners who want to run a GT3 rear bumper with center exhaust outlets. The system delivers uncompromising sound and performance for both street and track use. It remains relatively civilized while cruising, but under full load it develops an authentic, motorsport-inspired exhaust note.

The BROMBACHER stainless-steel sport exhaust system was developed for Porsche 997 owners looking for a combination of increased performance, reduced exhaust backpressure, and an authentic, motorsport-inspired Porsche sound.

On the 997 Carrera S, the exhaust system can provide gains of up to 21 hp (16 kW)and up to 41 Nm of additional torque.

To achieve maximum exhaust flow and optimum performance, the complete system uses generously sized 70 mm piping throughout.

The BROMBACHER exhaust system uses 70 mm piping throughout. The headers, sport catalytic converters, and rear mufflers are therefore engineered as a fully matched system.

The corresponding factory components cannot be freely combined with individual BROMBACHER components, because the larger pipe diameter must not be reduced back down to the factory exhaust diameter.

Quality:
BROMBACHER exhaust systems are developed specifically for Porsche vehicles and manufactured in Germany. Development focuses on exhaust flow, thermal durability, crack resistance, long-term reliability, and maximum performance.

The rear mufflers feature a specially formed outer shell designed to reduce unwanted frequencies and minimize unpleasant cabin drone. The result is a powerful, linear, rpm-dependent 6-cylinder boxer sound with a distinctly sporty Porsche character.

During relaxed driving, the system remains comparatively refined. Under full load, however, it produces an uncompromising motorsport-inspired sound, making it equally suitable for performance-oriented street cars and track use.

The systems are extensively tested on engine and chassis dynamometers as well as under real-world street and racetrack conditions.

Installation Notes:
Important: This exhaust system is designed exclusively for vehicles equipped with a GT3 rear bumper with center exhaust outlets.
Proper ECU/DME software calibration is required when installing this exhaust system.
