With the 992 generation, Porsche turbocharged the entire 911 lineup—unlocking huge tuning potential, but also introducing a completely new intake and intercooler layout. Instead of the familiar top-mounted intake and air box, the 992 Carrera tucks dual air boxes behind the rear wheel arches. Functional, yes—but not optimal. do88 reimagined this setup from the ground up, replacing the restrictive factory air boxes with a complete induction system that creates a direct, laminar flow path—improving efficiency, reducing backpressure, and unleashing hidden performance.

Turbocharged engines are directly influenced by inlet air temperature (IAT). Lower IAT and reduced restriction ahead of the compressor let the turbos move more air, more efficiently—delivering real power gains across the rev range.

do88 addressed the factory compromises by starting with a 3D scan of the 992 engine bay to capture exact geometry. Iterative CAD modeling in SolidWorks refined every radius, transition, and angle to maximize airflow while minimizing pressure loss. Final designs were validated through CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis and confirmed on a Superflow SF1020 flow bench—providing real, trustworthy data behind every performance claim.

The finished system is built from vacuum-infused prepreg carbon fiber for maximum strength, low weight, and heat resistance. CNC-machined connections mate precisely with the turbo inlet hoses, while the available space accommodates large inverted-cone BMC filters with premium media. Stainless, water jet–cut brackets secure the housings in place, ensuring factory-level fit and finish.

Custom silicone hoses complete the kit, connecting directly to the 992's air guides and intercoolers to form a fully sealed intake path with zero leakage. Finished in discreet matte black, these hoses combine durability with seamless integration. The do88 induction kit replaces the entire OE airboxes with a true motorsport-grade upgrade engineered for enthusiasts who demand performance without compromise.

The added cooling capacity and airflow create valuable headroom for tuning—headroom we unlock with ECU and PDK calibrations, as well as synergistic hardware upgrades. Please note:This Induction System includes 66 mm outlets with 66 mm turbo inlet hoses. If you are interested in the standalone system for the OE hoses or the 80 mm system, please contact us. Check the model fitment tab to ensure proper compatibility. do88 recommends following the BMC air filter regeneration procedure every 20,000–25,000 km (12,427–15,534 miles). BMC regeneration kits and replacement filters are sold separately. The induction system with 80 mm turbo inlet hoses (do88 airbox paired with do88 large turbo inlets) requires additional space near the inner fender by the rear tires. Please take this into account if you plan further modifications.
